A real founder who has built, scaled, and sold a business — and who does M&A for the love of it. Your valuation is reviewed by him, not a bot.
I built WP Masters, a specialized WordPress and IT-services agency, and ran it from Vienna. We did serious work for fast-growing tech companies — including US unicorns — and crossed $1M+ in revenue with 500+ client reviews along the way. In 2023, I sold the agency in a successful M&A exit. Building it was almost a side passion — what I genuinely love is the deal itself: valuing a business, finding the right buyer, and getting a founder a fair outcome.
But before that sale, I'd tried to exit through a well-known community of IT entrepreneurs — and they turned me down. Too small, they said: under 20 people. Never mind that WP Masters was more profitable than plenty of their 30–40-person members, because our margins were unusually high. So I decided, on principle, to sell it myself — I dug up the contacts, found the brokers, built the listings, and closed the deal on my own. That's exactly why I understand startup founders and small-business owners who want an exit or a partner but keep getting waved away for being "too small."
So I started helping friends sell their companies. A 40-person dev shop. A small design studio. People who'd built something real but had no idea what it was worth or who would buy it — and who the big brokers wouldn't even return a call to, because the deal was "too small." Every time, the same gap: great little businesses, no fair path to an exit.
That gap is ExitMicro. The deals brokers ignore, valued honestly by someone who's actually done it.
I'm a technologist by trade — a master's in computer science, years as a CTO, and I still run a tech company in Vienna. That's why ExitMicro is built on a real, registered Austrian company (GetTrusted Escrow GmbH) rather than an anonymous landing page. When you send your numbers, a real person with a real name and a real track record looks at them. No AI guesswork, no faceless platform.
Building that company — GetTrusted, known by it's Project Hierophant, — also put me in front of a lot of investors, business angels, buyers, brokers and distributors. That network now quietly works for ExitMicro's sellers too.
The mission is simple, and a little personal: help small business owners turn what they built into great exits — without losing 15% to a broker or drowning on a spam-filled marketplace.
